Worship at Marlton UMC

Worship is our opportunity to gather together as a community, offer our praise to God, hear God's Word spoken into our lives, and respond to the message God has for each of us.  The best way to get a sense of our worship service is to experience it for yourself.  You are always welcome to join us anytime.  We meet regularly at 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings.  Below is a snapshot of what you should expect to see on a typical Sunday morning. 

Music

Our music is an offering to God, and in the process we are also blessed and transformed.  We believe that God is glorified through all styles of music and you will find that our worship is blended.  You can expect to hear the latest contemporary worship songs, standard hymns, classical, and occasional monastic chants.  Our music is led by a traditional choir, a praise band, and children and youth groups.    

Message

Each week a message is given, typically through a sermon, but also through artistic presentations or other programs.  All messages are based in scripture and relevant for discipleship.

Table

On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Holy Communion where we join together as a body in Jesus' act of salvation.  The Methodist Church believes in an open table and all are welcome to participate.  You do not have to be a member of this congregation or any congregation to join in communion.
