John 3:16-17 (KJV)
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
Simply said. Simply done. God became human so that we might see first-hand His love and forgiveness for us. He gave His life so that we might have life.
We only need to believe. This is a perfect time of year to remember this. It is also a time to introduce Jesus to those looking for meaning in the season of Christmas. They know the gist of the story, let’s give them the whole meaning and share it!
